About the Journal
Al-Mustansiriyah Journal of Science (p-ISSN: 1814-635X, e-ISSN: 2521-3520) is a scientific journal published by Mustansiriyah University. The journal employs a double-blind peer-review process and obeys an open-access policy. It publishes original and review articles quarterly, covering the main research areas: biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, and physics. The selection of papers is based on their scientific originality and interdisciplinary relevance. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to rigorous plagiarism checking through anti-plagiarism software. The journal exclusively accepts papers in the English language.
Publishing Frequency
The journal publishes four issues per volume. The table shows the scheduled date to publish each issue (2017-present). Sometimes, the journal publishes an extra issue corresponding to conferences.

Journal History
Al-Mustansiriyah Journal of Science was established in 1976 and published by Mustansiriyah University. However, the Gulf War disrupted publication, resulting in the loss of several journal issues. In 2005, the journal adopted the principles of open access, committing to provide immediate, permanent, and free access to its research content, and began indexing its content in the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals database. In 2016, Al-Mustansiriyah Journal of Science launched its electronic online version by implementing an online management system for reviewing and publishing articles electronically. In 2017, the journal received E-ISSN 2521-3520 and provided digital object identifiers (DOI) for its articles.
